This is something every activist should think about doing. While we can’t fully protect ourselves against email spying, we can make things a lot more secure and avoid providers who routinely turn all records over to the government (as Google, Gmail’s host, does). Use Riseup or May First/People Link for your email needs. Both protect all email stored on their servers and resist all attempts to subpoena information. They are the movement’s providers.
